Description

Moving health innovations from development into patient care requires coordination across clinical validation, incubation, funding and policy. Capgemini Engineering (France) opens the session presenting Rad@AID, a vision-language model designed to draft chest X-ray reports while keeping clinicians responsible for the final decision.

From there, the session explore different stages of the translational pathway from discovery to clinical adoption. A scoping review by PUCRS/TECNOPUC in Brazil brings together evidence on health incubation strategies across Europe, Asia and North America. UC3M Science Park in Spain presents health spin-offs working in AI rehabilitation and digital phenotyping, supported by EIC grants. Cornell University and SUNY Oswego in the USA examine funding pathways that connect university gap funding with grants in non-metropolitan regions.
