Rafael Reimann Baptista is a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), where he serves as Coordinator of BioHub Tecnopuc, the university’s health innovation hub. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Movement Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), a specialization in Exercise Physiology, and an MBA in Health Management, Innovation, and Services.

His work focuses on the intersection of science, innovation, and entrepreneurship, leading research and technology transfer initiatives in biomechanics, aging, exercise science, and healthcare innovation.

He is a recipient of the CNPq Productivity Fellowship in Technological Development and Innovative Extension, teaches in graduate programs, has authored numerous scientific publications, and serves as an Associate Editor for international scientific journals.
