Regarding education, I am a business graduate from Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), Master in Finance from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Doctor in Economics and Innovation Management from the Autonomous University of Madrid

Concerning my professional experience, this can be divided into the acquired in the private and public sectors. Related to the first one, after an entrepreneurial attempt to launch a music school, I joined different multinationals for several positions in the economics and administration department in addition to developing various innovation projects in those corporations.

In 2004 I joined the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), at the time, a pioneer and unusual project as the UC3M Science Park, nowadays embraced by the Entrepreneurial and Innovation Support Service of the mentioned university. During these years, my functions have been in the field of technology transfer, entrepreneurship, innovation, and University-Business Collaboration.

Currently, I am the head of the International unit for Research and Knowledge Transfer. , the technical coordinator of the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” work package of the YUFE Alliance, and I have been the project manager in a 2-year process for the dual accreditation as Entrepreneurial and Engaged University of the ACEEU (Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial & Engaged Universities). This dual recognition has been achieved in November 2021 and the UC3M is the first European institution to obtain it, and the 2nd worldwide.

Finally, a few words of myself. I am passionate about “innovation”, for me it makes the world move forward; I love my job because it offers a good balanced combination of both the academic and industry environment. I have been a lucky person being leaded by generous colleagues through my way here, I would like to maintain the spirit and contribute to the future by showing an alternative professional work
