As emerging technologies continue to reshape career paths, education is increasingly becoming a lifelong process rather than a linear journey. This session looks at how innovation spaces are connecting different stages of education and skills development, from K-12 learning to reskilling and support for educators.
Four examples approach that challenge in very different ways. Biopark in Brazil has embedded a basic education school within their ecosystem, connecting young people directly with research environments. In Finland, Hubconcepts and Leapicon use an AI-supported “Innovation Pyramid” learning engine to address knowledge gaps across different ecosystem roles. Ruta N in Medellín, Colombia, runs lifelong learning programmes ranging from childhood through to senior years, while I2T2 in Mexico is training teachers in STEAM project-based methods with NASA.
