Francesca has been a shareholder and Managing Partner at META Group since 1997. Since 2005, she has overseen early-stage investments in Italy, Poland and Slovenia, with a particular focus on deep-tech companies operating in the health sector. She has also served on the boards of directors of many META portfolio companies, supporting their strategic development and growth.
She has extensive experience in designing, managing and implementing EU financial instruments, and has worked with major institutional actors including the European Commission, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank.
As an angel investor and board member, Francesca supports innovative ventures in moving from research results to market-ready solutions and accelerating their growth. She also serves on the board of DAEN – Defense Angels European Network.
