Doctor in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), Master in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2000) and Graduated in Business Administration from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2000 and 1994). He is a professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He was a professor at PROPAD/UFPE, being the Coordinator of the Center for Studies in Finance and Investments (NEFI/UFPE). He was Dean of the Centro Universitário dos Guararapes (UNIFG) and Regional Academic Director of the Laureate Network, for the State of Pernambuco and Paraíba, being responsible for UNIFG, FG Recife, FPB and Cedepe. He was Vice-President of Grupo Diario de Pernambuco / Clube. He has experience in several sectors, such as Education (Dean of Centro Universitário dos Guararapes for 4 and a half years), Communication (he was Vice-President of the Diário de Pernambuco for 7 months in 2018), Innovation and Technology (being a member of the Board of Management of C.E.S.A.R for 5 years and Board Member of Porto Digital from 2017 to 2018). He reached his current position as president of Porto Digital in 2018, in addition to working as a professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco for 25 years in various undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral disciplines.
