The IASP Innovation Districts Alliance

The IASP community keeps growing in diversity and projects and in this presentation you will learn more about the IASP Innovation Districts Alliance, a new initiative under the umbrella of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP).

Aimed at facilitating connections and serve as a platform for urban innovation districts to share best practices and showcase some of the vital work they are doing in their local communities, the group also represents collaboration opportunities for fellow IASP members in our common mission to promote sustainable economic development in our cities and regions.

The alliance is coordinated by former IASP President Josep Piqué of 22@Barcelona, who will also introduce you to the founding members from various countries across the world.

First announced at a hybrid meeting and an in-person follow up at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in March 2023; the IASP Innovation Districts Alliance will now be officially formalized at the 40th IASP World Conference in Luxembourg with this session.
