Nadeem, Yaruq

Yaruq Nadeem is a multi-award winning innovation professional who’s currently serving as the Head of Innovation & Partnerships at National Science & Technology Park (NSTP). He has been instrumental in driving the launch and expansion of NSTP by cultivating a robust innovation ecosystem, implementing effective policy and performance frameworks, establishing academia-industry linkage portal, fostering incubation and acceleration programs, forging strategic international partnerships, and spearheading joint initiatives.

Yaruq is also a renowned startup trainer, mentor, and advisor, specializing in critical areas such as idea validation, business modelling, and pitching. He continuously endeavours to inspire, educate, and empower young minds towards entrepreneurship through initiatives such as NSTP Talks, Innovation Inside and Student Ambassador Program. He has contributed significantly to the development of university-level curricula for entrepreneurial education. In recent years alone, Yaruq’s efforts have facilitated the growth of over 150 startups, resulting in the creation of more than 4,500 jobs.

Previously, he completed his Master’s Degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management from Imperial College London, United Kingdom and is also a recipient of the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship.
