Dr. Ruth Wangari Muriithi is the Manager, Knowledge Economy and Innovation at the Technopolis Development Authority, where she leads initiatives that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, research commercialization, strategic partnerships, and the growth of Kenya’s knowledge economy.
She holds a PhD in Strategic Management and has over 20 years of experience spanning banking, academia, innovation management, and public service. Previously, she served at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology as Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management, Head of the Science and Technology Park, and Head of the Animation, Gaming and Film Hub, where she
spearheaded innovation ecosystem development and digital creative economy initiatives.
Her expertise lies in innovation policy, entrepreneurship, science and technology parks, knowledge economy, and strategic leadership, with a strong commitment to advancing innovation-driven and inclusive economic development.
