Haunold, Christophe

ASTP, Luxembourg

Christophe Haunold has over 30 years of experience in technology transfer. He holds a PhD in chemical engineering from the Institut national polytechnique de Toulouse and has worked in technology transfer since 1992.

He heads the University of Luxembourg’s Office for Partnership, Knowledge and Technology Transfer. The office aims to foster the University’s partnerships with industrial and public partners and transfer the University’s high-quality research results to create value for society and businesses. Since the PaKTT Office’s inception, the University’s Faculties and Interdisciplinary Centres have launched several significant partnerships, proof of concepts and spin-off companies. Through these partnerships, the University experiences the industrial and societal challenges that increasingly require interdisciplinary and intersectoral approaches.

He has been elected new President of the ASTP, the premier pan-European non-profit association of knowledge transfer professionals in June 2022.
