Rama Chakaki is the President of Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), where she leads the organisation’s mission to position Qatar as a global hub for deep tech innovation and social impact. With over 30 years of experience at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and social impact, Rama has held leadership roles across a wide range of sectors, including media, telecom, fintech, edtech, and AI.
She holds a M.S. and B.S. in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management from the George Washington University, with continued education in scaling impact from Stanford University. She is also a partner at Transform VC, a venture capital firm focused on enabling tech entrepreneurs to generate large-scale impact, and has served as COO at aiXplain, a Transform VC portfolio company dedicated to democratising AI.
