Lennart Söderberg is an analyst and researcher at Sandbacka Science Park in Sandviken, Sweden. He holds an MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management and has completed five years of research studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. With more than 15 years of experience in applied research and development at the University of Gävle, Lennart works closely with manufacturing SMEs to strengthen their competitiveness, resilience, and innovation capabilities.
His work focuses on how smaller industrial companies can navigate digital and green transformation in a practical and value-creating way. In recent projects, Lennart has focused on maturity models, Industry 4.0, and the use of Industrial IoT platforms as enablers for improved energy efficiency, process optimisation, reduced CO₂ emissions, and increased resilience in manufacturing SMEs. His work highlights how data-driven approaches can support both operational performance and long-term sustainability in industrial value chains.
