Marjorie Bihoreau started her career in 2003 at EDF as a national buyer for the French nuclear fleet, then joined Naval Group in 2008 as a buyer and purchasing manager. Under the guidance and advice of her mentor, she took on the responsibility for the export of three Gowind-class corvettes for the Egyptian navy. In 2017, she joined the teams of the Global Business Unit “Defense Mission Systems” at Thales, as an export project manager, becoming a specialist in the United Arab Emirates.
After working for twelve years in industrial purchasing, eight years in export project management, and having a very engaged experience as union representative on issues such as gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, Marjorie seized the opportunity in November 2023 to take on new responsibilities as the Thales site director in Sophia Antipolis.
Today, she is not only managing a site but has the mandate to drive real change at the site with the physical transformation of the work environment, a true multi-year project with extraordinary human, cultural, social, industrial, and sustainable development challenges.
