Sebastien WIERTZ has more than 25 years of experience in engineering in the steel industry and is passionate about innovation and knowledge management.

Sebastien drives open innovation initiatives within Paul Wurth InCub. He understands the importance of collaboration and believes that innovation thrives when different perspectives and expertise are brought together. By fostering an open innovation culture, he encourages external collaborations, partnerships, and co-creation with other organizations, universities, research institutes and entrepreneurs. Sebastien actively seeks opportunities to leverage external knowledge, technologies and ideas to enhance the internal capabilities of Paul Wurth and its incubated start-ups, thereby fuelling the growth and development of the industrial technologies (#InduTech) sector.
