Bilal Topcu was appointed as the General Manager of Teknopark Istanbul on September 12, 2018. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Sakarya University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, and completed his master’s degree at Medeniyet University, Department of Public Administration with the thesis of “R&D Project Evaluation Process in Technoparks”.
After working as a regional manager and import-wholesale manager for three years in a private company in the USA, Topçu returned to Turkey and worked as a manager and finance manager in companies in the chain market and automotive sector.
He started his political career as Istanbul Youth Branch Provincial Vice President in 2009 and served as Istanbul 1st district deputy candidate in the 2011 General Elections, as a member of the Istanbul provincial board of directors and organization chairman in 2012-2015, and as Advisor to the Minister of Family and Social Policies between 2016-2018.
Topcu is the member of the World Ethnosport Confederation Board of Directors and Istanbul Ticaret University Board of Trustees.
