Pinto, Luiz Carlos

Luiz Carlos Pinto da Silva Filho is Secretary of Innovation of Porto Alegre. Full Professor at the School of Engineering – Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul where was Dean for 8 years / Coordinator of PACTO ALEGRE Innovation Pact of Porto Alegre. Has been the research leader of several projects and the head of established research groups on Experimental Analysis of Materials and Structures and on Disaster Risk Management (GRID) and a budding one on Innovation.

Flavia Siqueira Fiorin is Manager at TECNOPUC (PUCRS’ science and technology park) and Coordinator of Inovapucrs Network. Holds a Master Degree in Business Administration at Université Portiers – France and Business Management at Unisinos – Brazil. Has attended Korea’s Science and Technology Park Training Program at INNOPOLIS Foundation in South Korea.Has more than 15 years experience in business and innovation project management, focusing on technology-based companies.
