Roberto Marelli is the Development Director at Kilometro Rosso, one of Europe’s leading innovation districts, home to over 85 Resident Partners, 3,000 researchers, and 110,000 sqm of state-of-the-art facilities.
He holds a degree from Bocconi University in Milan and attended majoring courses of the MBA at the University of Michigan. He began his career in academia, serving on the faculty of Bocconi University and its School of Management, where he lectured on Marketing and Media and New Media.
He later joined the global headquarters of Alcatel Telecom in Paris, where he coordinated the Corporate Training Center for nearly three years. Upon returning to Italy, he combined his marketing expertise with his passion for technology and innovation in senior roles at Telecom Italia’s research centre and leading strategy consulting firms such as Roland Berger and Arthur D. Little, where he headed the development of practices in Telecom, Internet, Media, and Electronics.
He subsequently joined Seat Pagine Gialle as Corporate Development Director for the New Media division. His competencies in marketing, project management, and technology transfer have also been applied in real estate development and investment fund management, working with top-tier Italian and international asset management firms.
