Burak Keskik is a former entrepreneur turned innovation leader, with extensive experience in venture capital, technology transfer, and startup ecosystem development. Currently serving as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at Technopark Istanbul, he oversees five strategic departments: 

• Incubation Center – Supporting deep-tech startups and fostering innovation, 

• Technology Transfer Office – Bridging academia and industry to commercialize research, 

• Fund Management – Managing investments in high-tech ventures, 

• Project Management – Leading national and international R&D initiatives, 
• Quality & Sustainability Management – Ensuring operational and regulatory excellence. 

Before assuming his current role, Burak served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Technopark Istanbul, managing security, cleaning, personnel transportation, and contract administration across the entire technopark. 

Previously, he played a crucial role in shaping Turkey’s leading technoparks, holding multiple leadership positions at Yıldız Technopark, including: 

• Business Development Manager – Led corporate strategy, communications, and international trade delegations (USA, UK, UAE, China, Japan, Qatar). 

• Ikitelli Branch Manager – Managed a 16,000 sqm office space, overseeing 90 tech firms and an incubation center. 

• Coordinator of International Relations – Developed global partnerships and represented Yıldız Technopark in international innovation networks. 

Beyond technopark management, Burak has a strong entrepreneurial background, having founded Tool Event, a leading HR services company, and Ehil.com, a tech startup that secured $1M in angel investment from Aslanoba Capital. 

He also played a pivotal role in establishing Turkey’s first deep-tech investment network, securing $10M in initial funding for the Deep Technology Fund at Technopark Istanbul, providing much-needed capital to early-stage deep-tech startups. 

Education & Research 

Burak Keskik holds a BSc in Economics from Istanbul University and is a Ph.D. candidate in Marketing at Yıldız Technical University, currently in the dissertation phase. His research focuses on:  

• Resource Orchestration in Entrepreneurial Marketing: A Study of Knowledge, Skills, and Networks 

He also holds an MBA in International Business from the University of East London (UEL) and a BSc in Economics from Istanbul University.
