René Buck is CEO of Buck Consultants International (BCI), a worldwide operating consulting company with 75 professionals. A core activity of BCI is to advise companies with an independent and unbiased view on the best location for their new R&D center, manufacturing plant, software engineering center, warehouse, etc. As more than 1,000 companies in high tech, biopharma, food, chemicals, med tech and industrial products are clients of BCI, the firm has carried out many location studies for new R&D centers and advanced manufacturing plants around the world. Using that experience BCI supports science parks, innovation districts and areas of innovation in Europe and the US with feasibility studies, business plans and marketing efforts. René Buck founded the company in 1985 on the day that he graduated from the University of Nijmegen (NL). BCI was in September 2022 recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the 200 World’s Best Management Consulting Firms.
