Pierre Lucena has Ph.D. in Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), master’s in economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco, and Bachelor’s in Administration from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2000 and 1994).

He is the president of Porto Digital, one of Brazil’s leading innovation hubs, with over 18,000 collaborators and 415 companies, and chief coordinator of the RECnPlay Festival. Pierre was formerly a professor at PROPAD/UFPE, where he served as Coordinator of the Finance and Investments Studies Center (NEFI/UFPE), advising master’s and Ph.D. students. He was also a full professor at UniFG and a member of the Professional Master’s Program in Innovation and Development.

He is a commentator for Radio CBN/Recife and Radio Nova Brasil FM in the field of innovation. He has served as an economic commentator for CBN/Recife and was a voluntary economic commentator for TV/Journal/SBT. His expertise lies in Finance, focusing on market efficiency, market anomalies, empirical tests on Bovespa, and research coordination in real estate financing and property acquisition.
