International innovation management standards amplifying innovation ecosystems

The standardization of innovation management is a global trend, and experts from more than fifty countries are working hard to release the first international certifiable standard, ISO 56001, next autumn.
But surely, innovation and standardization must be contradictory? In this talk, we will argue for the contrary and explore the innovation management principles and the interrelated elements of an innovation management system outlined in the ISO 56000 series of standards.
We will talk about how these standards enable participants in innovation ecosystems to strengthen partnerships, collaborations and boost, not impede, innovation performance
